PG Degree/Diploma in any discipline/MBA with at least minimum 7 years of post-qualification relevant experience in development project/Insurance Sector. S/he should have experience of working at the senior management level on SHGs/Federations/Insurance aspects related to community institution model for at least 3 years. S/he should also have effective training skill and have experience of designing and implementing capacity building to community institutions on Inurance, Pension and other related financial issues. S/he should have good communication skill (both oral and writing) in English and Hindi. Proficiency in working with MS office is a must.

  • S/he will be responsible for product design related to insurance for the community members. At first the priority needs to be given for Life Insurance and then on non life with in Gamut of Financial Inclusion.
  • S/he will be responsible for Working on strategy of convergence with insurance companies/ instituions to get the insurance products suitable for community members with respect to life and non life as risk mitigation strategy
  • S/he will be responsible for rolling out of the model to facilitate best possible services for the community members as part of business process.
  • S/he will be responsible for laying out system in place which facilitates management of Inusrance portfolio at the level of the community institutions with larger efficiency.
  • S/he will be responsible for rolling out Pension Services as per the need of the Organization.
  • S/he will be responsible for taking up pilots on different aspects of financial inclusion & scale it up along with the team.
  • S/he will be responsible for policy advocacy for the issues related to Insurance & other financial inclusion aspects to ensure financially sustainable model of Community Institutions.

2 State Project Manager - Financial Literacy and Bank Linkages

(1 Position:  UR-1)

PG in any discipline/MBA with at least minimum 7 years of post-qualification relevant experience in development project. S/he should have experience of working at the senior management level on the SHGs/Federations/SHG-Bank linkage model related to community institutions for at least 3 years.S/he should also have effective training skill and have experience of designing and implementing capacity building to community institutions aiding the process of Financial Litearcy & Credit Counselling for responsible borrowing. S/he should have good communication skill (both oral and writing) in English and Hindi.Proficiency in working with MS office is a must.

  • S/he will be responsible for policy advocacy and coordination with mainstream Financial Insituions to leverage support for timely capitalization.
  • S/he will be responsible for liasioning with Banks for timely opening of saving accounts and credit linkages of SHGs and Federations to support capitalization and leveraging of other financial products.
  • S/he will be responsible for spreading financial literacy & credit counselling among community institutions and its members for responsible borrowing.
  • S/he will be responsible for training to Staffs and community institutions on issues related to Financial Litearcy and Bank Linkages.
  • S/he will be responsible for providing support to rollout other financial products and services required by community institutions.

Project Manager - Bank Linkage

(1 Position:  UR-1)

PG degree/diploma in Rural management/rural development / MBA / Social Work/PG in any discipline with minimum 4 years of post-qualification relevant experience in promoting and strengtening of SHGs/ Fedreations. S/he should have demonstrated a successful track record in Training to community institutions for facilitating Bank / Insurance / MFI linkages. S/he should have effective track record of maintaining healthy financial portfolio at the level of community institutions. Good communication skill (both hindi and english) and knowledge of working with MS office environment is essential.

  • S/he will be responsible for the coordination between community institutions and mainstream financial institutions for timely capitalization by ensuring timely saving account opening and credit linkage of community institutions.
  • S/he will be responsible for developing institutional relationship with mainstream financial institutions for creating an ecosystem where SHG financing is provided higher priority by mainstream financial institutions.
  • S/he will be responsible for laying out system in place which facilitates training of all related people and management of project investments made in the community institutions.
  • S/he will be responsible for system setting of responsibile borrowing among the community institutions through effective Microplanning process.
  • S/he will be responsible for training on thematic related issues and as when required policy development & module preparation related to different financial services.
  • S/he will be responsible for implementing rollout of financial services for community institutions.

Project Manager - Financial literacy and Interest Subvention

(1 Position:  UR-1)

PG degree/diploma in Rural management/rural development / MBA / Social Work/PG in any discipline with minimum 4 years of post-qualification relevant experience in promoting and strengtening of SHGs/ Fedreations. S/he should have demonstrated a successful track record in Training to community institutions for literacy on financial aspects and facilitating for Bank / Insurance / MFI linkages and ensuring healthy financial portfolio. Good communication skill (both hindi and english) and knowledge of working with MS office is essential.

  • S/he will be responsible for facilitating financial literacy at the level of community institutions and its members for responsible borrowing from banks / Community institutions. •S/he will be responsible for liasioning with banks to update the data on banking transactions of SHGs to facilitate interest subvention to the eligible groups. •S/he will be responsible for developing modules on financial literacy and administrating the same to project staffs and community cadres alongwith team members.
  • S/he will be responsible for liasioning with related state/ district / block team for timely transfer of interest subvention amount and work on the strategy to achieve the same.
  • S/he will be responsible for supporting rollout different financial services at level of community institutions.

Project Manager - Community Investment

(1 Position:  UR-1)

PG degree/diploma in Rural management/rural development / MBA / Social Work/PG in any discipline with minimum 4 years of post-qualification relevant experience in promoting and strengtening of SHGs/ Fedreations to make it sustainable on financial parameters. S/he should have demonstrated a successful track record in Training to community institutions for facilitating effective rotation of funds taken from Bank / Community Institutions/ MFIs. S/he should have effective track record of maintaining resilient systems for financial sustainability. Good communication skill (both hindi and english) and knowledge of working with MS office is essential.

  • S/he will be responsible for creating awarness amongst community members and Community Based Organisations about different financial product viz-a-viz providing these services to communities.
  • S/he will be responsible for the developing training tools, manuals, training calendars for supporting responsible borrowing and repayments.
  • S/he will be responsible for promoting next generation financial services to communities and CBOs.
  • S/he will be responsible for the coordination with community institutions and mainstream financial institutions/project for greater investment.
  • S/he will be responsible for ensuring better repayment behaviour alongwith capacity building for the loans taken by SHGs or their federations to banks/other institutions.
  • S/he will be responsible for liasoning to ensure timely investment to the community institutions from the project and other financial institutions.
  • S/he will ensure timely investment from different sources like banks/project/community institutions/other and ensure effective rotation at the level of the SHG's & Federations.

Chief Finance  Officer

(1 Position:  UR-1)

Eligibility Criteria: You should have experience in financial management, budget preparation, meeting statutory requirements and financial compliance preferably for a large rural development project. You should be a Charted Accountant with a minimum of 10 years of experience. Suitable candidates from Bihar Finance Service/ Bihar Accounts Service with minimum 10 years of experience are also eligible to apply on the basis of deputation.
